Tyd vir 'n Fly-in 2013

Daarsy amper het ek vergeet van ons blog. Ons hou die 14de September (ja net 'n week weg) weer so klein Mini Flyin of sommer net n lekker kom kuier by ons bring jou mooiste airies en kom "brag" 'n bietjie met jou toertjies. Ons gaan lekker kos hê en koeldrank sal volop wees. Kom kuier gerus saam met ons kom ontmoet die ouens van MRF  enn kom kyk na ons lieflike wide open spaces soos hulle sê.

Almal welkom jets, helis en vliegtuie ons enigeste vereistes wel behalwe dat jy seker moet kan vlieg nê, bring asb jou Samaa Solo kaartjie saam en maak maar seker hys betaal. Net om ons self te cover manne asseblief

Ons begin so van 7am daar vergader, toegang vir inloop is slegs R5, vir die publiek met hul motor in die parkering slegs R15 en die Pilots betaal slegs die hek toegang tot die hanger en dis maar n skamele R15 per voertuig. Ons vriendelike Hobby Freaks hobbyshop het vir ons n vliegtuig geskenk wat ons uitloot teen R20 n kaartjie, 'n kompleet vliegtuig radio batterye als en dit net vir R20 man dis n bargain ne.

Ons het maar ons gewone klubreëls waaraan almal moet voldoen asseblief dis beskikbaar op die webwerf en sal aan al die pilots ook uitgedeel word die oggend. Ons GOUE reël asseblief, AS JY DRINK VLIEG JY NIE! almal meer as welkom om te kuier manne onthou net daai een asseblief dis in ons almal se belang dankie

Bushveld Fly-In 2010 Final day!!

Again, what a fantastic day! The weather could not have been better, the crowd were plenty and cheerfull everyone just seemed to have had a perfect day.

Our new students

Werner is kept busy with training this morning we had our two new pilots in for their first session on the 40 Stick
 after some breathtaking moments they eventualy got the hang of it and then it was smiles all the way...

Lets get back to basics part 1

The inside loop:
The inside loop is the easiest of all stunts to pull off, and any rc airplane with elevators is capable of looping.

How to do it: Start by flying straight and level into wind.
Open the throttle to full power and, at point A in the picture above, pull back on the elevator stick to start a climb - not too suddenly, be gentle but definite. Keep the power on. The airplane will go into a vertical climb, let it keep going until it starts to roll over onto its back - point B in the picture. At this point, close the throttle and keep holding the elevator stick back, adjusting it as necessary to maintain a tidy path.
At point C in the picture, level out the airplane by returning elevator to neutral and increase power to exit the loop, flying straight and level again.

Welcome to our newest radio flyer's the van Niekerk brothers started their first flying lesson on Sunday the 2nd of May and while the adrenaline were pumping they enjoyed it thoroughly. Welcome guys we hope you will enjoy it as much as we do.
